    2018 Playlist

As we fall into the homestretch of the first month of 2018, I look to the rest of the year with a positive view. And the music on our playlist has a lot to do with that. Music becomes the soundtrack of our environment, and what we’re listening to affects how we feel. I am a firm believer in the music we enjoy reflects who we are as people, and sets the stage for the future. That’s why I love concerts so much, it’s a physical representation of who I am. For January, I found my

    Favourites Friday No.91

And we’re back! I am going into this weekend feeling energized, excited, and enjoying a really good book. After weeks of feeling too stretched out, I’m looking forward to a weekend of getting back to my roots. Highlights of this week were seeing my parents, a pizza party at work, and possibly finding a new apartment. Lows included a major breakout, sitting in traffic for way too long, and our summer intern at work leaving. But overall, a massively good week! Overall Good: A F

    My July Playlist

A big part of my life is music. From attending a handful of concerts each year to always having background music when I’m getting ready, I need music in my life. I always have playlists set up for my mood and for July I had lots of songs on repeat. I thought today I’d share the songs that got me through this month, and maybe they’ll make it on your August playlist. Morgan’s Music for July Below are songs to dance to, loudly sing in the car to, and to plain rock out because su

Favourites Friday #65: Songs of {sorta} Spring

As we welcomed March this week, I expected Spring to peek it’s head out and welcome us with greenery and sunshine. Instead it’s been grey and rainy. To keep my mood up – and my long car rides fun – I have a playlist in my car of songs I love to sing along to and will always belt. I thought today I would share it as they are truly wonderful songs that my broken singing voice actually can pull off. Happy Friday! Songs of {sorta} Spring: A Favourites Friday C’Mon – Panic! At The

Song Saturday: Tunes of the Week

It’s important to have a good soundtrack for your week, which is what this Song Saturday is all about! I love good music and during a week filled with work and housework, tunes that keep me grooving are what it is all about. I need something that’s going to keep me out of the slump. And that’s why I’m sharing with you my songs of the week that kept me shaking and baking all week long. Morgan’s Tunes of the Week Cool for the Summer – Demi Lovato It’s the best summer jam right

Song Saturday: The Best Music Videos

Oh, it’s Song Saturday again? Well, good, because I have plenty of music to share! I thought today would be a great day to talk music videos. And not just any music videos, the best ones (in my opinion). Music videos are some of my favourite things, and sharing them is always fun. So why not share them today? Are any your favourites? *Note: This is based purely on opinion and the fact I’m a 20-year-old girl and 90% of my favourite music videos are videos I don’t have room to

Song Saturday: The Best of Spotify Playlists

Welcome back to another fine day here on Everyday Enthusiasm. It’s the weekend and I’m currently tucking in for a Harry Potter movie marathon, so I hope everyone’s weekend is as fantastic as mine. Today is Song Saturday, so let’s add some music to your weekend mix. I don’t know about you, but I am a frequent Spotify listener. If you’re unfamiliar with Spotify, it is a music streaming service that allows one to make and listen to playlists from all around the world with all di

Song Saturday: Best of this Week

Hiya Enthusiasts! It’s Song Saturday for Everyday Enthusiasm and what better way to kick this off than reviewing iTunes Top 10 Songs this week? I’m a music buff, I won’t lie, and I think it’s time I reviewed some music that isn’t my favourite. Let’s see what happened… Morgan Reviews iTunes Top 10 Songs (Without Rushing Back to Her BritPop) 1. Can’t Feel My Face – The Weeknd This song is catchy, no doubt, but the only part I really like is the not computer altered singing. Whi

    June Bloom Playlist

It’s June, which means summer is about to be in full bloom, and it’s time to get ready for all of it! Ready for sunbathing, actually reading books, pool time, and just about everything else we only do during these summer months. So, what better way to prepare for those days (and to make putting on sunscreen more enjoyable) than to have a playlist we can bop along to? Yeah, I made you one. Rainy Day Playlist

Once again it is raining in Eugene and my brain needs a serious pick up if I’m going to make it to the weekend. And to pick my mood up, mood boosting music is exactly what I need! Because it is Memorial Day weekend and we all just want to get away from home (or stay at home alone with movies and quinoa oatmeal) so let’s start our weekend off right with the best music for a good weekend! The 20 Year Old Thing (A Q&A)

It’s been a crazy week. My birthday, midterms, lots of lots of film screenings and life in general have made everything crazy. And that’s why it’s time for a Q&A to calm things down! I Turned 20 and Stuff is Going On (A Q&A) What’s going on with you right now? A million and nine things. And that’s okay. I’m dealing with all of it one thing at a time and luckily I have the most amazing support system to make sure that I don’t completely implode. How was your birthday? AMAZING!

    The "Midterms Are Coming" Playlist

As I look at my calendar I notice that midterms are coming, and that means there are projects and tests galore. And as someone who loves to listen to a good tune while strapped down with my laptop and class notes, I figured it was time I put together a playlist for midterm studying. And who better to share it with than you guys? Morgan Does Midterms: A Playlist No Good For You – Meghan Trainor Uptown Funk – Mark Ronson feat. Bruno Mars http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OPf0YbXqD

Yes, Can I Have Some 5SOS With My Fries?

What band has two million Twitter followers, sold out tours, toured with the world’s hottest boy band, and no album? 5 Seconds of Summer! 5 Seconds of Summer, a.k.a. 5SOS (five sauce) ~ an Australian rock band that has melted their way into our hearts and musical souls. That’s it. We’re finally going to discuss the adorable Australian band that has officially reached VEVO status. Why? Because I am ridiculously baffled/proud of their success and I think it is time to discuss.

    Artists I Know You’ll Love

Let’s talk about music. We all have different tastes. Only the other day I posted in the Facebook group for my freshman class what kind of music everyone likes and no two people had the same answers. We are all attracted to different genres and voices and lyrics. And so I thought today I’d share with you some music that I love that I think you might like too. My Road Trip Playlist

This month is my big month of travel. Last week I went to Eugene for freshman orientation, this week I go to the coast with my best friend Katy, and the week after that I go to Portland for a  Bruno Mars concert! So, all in all, I’m going to be on the road a lot this month. And car rides are so boring without appropriate music, so I have my own Road Trip Playlist on my phone that provides several hours of fantastic car music. And I thought I’d share it with you. My October Playlist

For me getting up in the morning, before I go to sleep, getting dressed, and doing homework are not fully complete unless I have music playing. And during certain parts of the year, the right music is key to getting in the spirit. October is such a great month and the start of fall where I live. It’s getting colder, so I can wear as many sweaters as I please, and I’m really excited! However, I cannot truly start my morning unless I have the correct music to boost my spirits u

Grab your iPod and scroll through your playlists. You probably have ones for working out, getting dressed in the morning, in the car, etc. Playlists are those lists of music that fit the mood or pump you up. And for 2012, you need to have a playlist. This is the year of preparation, or at least for me. In this year I will be starting to prepare for my future. In a month I’ll be turning 17. In a few months I’ll be getting . This summer I’ll be deciding which universities I wan
