7 Blogs I Follow

I love the Internet and the wonderful things I find within it, such as blog posts about making candles or how to relieve stress. In the past few years blogs have become the go-to people for any and all information {that isn’t science-related} and honestly, I think it’s kind of wonderful.

Today, to kick off the week, I thought I would share 10 of the bloggers I follow. Whether it’s been years, or a few months, they are people who I think do what what the blogger mission is – to improve life and inspire people. And hopefully you’ll find that with these bloggers as well.

I’ve been following this blog for years and years after my mom turned me onto it. And I seriously believe everyone should be reading their blog posts. From dealing with real problems we all have, to providing inspiration for the future, Marc and Angel seriously seem to write about whatever is going on in my life and provide amazing support.

Apartment Therapy

A less adventurous person might have backed away from this house built in 1920 — charming as it was, it was practically uninhabitable. See how these homeowners have poured their love into bringing it back to life — adding tons of personal touches along the way. Full tour via the link in our bio. If you love home things, and are always looking for inspiration and hacks, look no further. From an interior designer’s newsletter to one of the biggest home improvement sites on the web, Apartment Therapy is my first place to look when I’m dealing with home goods. I honestly recommend following them because there’s too much good stuff to pass up.

A post shared by Shannon Ables (@thesimplyluxuriouslife) on Nov 5, 2017 at 10:47am PST

Some fun fact about me, Shannon Ables was my English teacher in high school. The day my class discovered her blog I quickly became obsessed with it. Her love of French culture, delicious food, and living the best life possible within reasonable means – all of it is worth following. And from knowing her in person, she really does live the life she’s selling.

A Seattle-based blogger, Chelsea Lankford’s blog is exactly what I think of with PNW fashion. I love her blog’s aesthetic and her trips have added many a place to my travel list. If you’re young and on the go, I would definitely recommend.

If you aren’t familiar with the Cupcakes and Cashmere team, get ready to be. From fashion and beauty to motherhood to food to DIY, there really isn’t a lot that isn’t covered by the C&C team. This blog is newer on my radar, but I’ve been obsessed ever since. Whenever I’m looking for something to add to my Favourites Friday or need a little inspiration, I always check out this blog first.

Looking to monetize your blog (or just start one in general)? Look no further. Today on The Everygirl, co-founder @alainakaz is sharing everything you need to know about the business of blogging. All your questions = answered👍

A post shared by The Everygirl (@theeverygirl) on Nov 5, 2017 at 11:01am PST

I love The Everygirl because it’s meant for every girl. It encourages women to be aspirational and career-driven and to embrace the things that make us unique and wonderful. It’s something that I think every woman – especially those in their 20s like me – need to feel like we aren’t alone on this very scary journey of wanting to prove ourselves.

A post shared by Julia Berolzheimer (@juliaberolzheimer) on Nov 5, 2017 at 2:07pm PST

Julia has one of the most beautiful Instagram feeds I have ever seen, and her blog is no different. Dreamy pinks and gorgeous landscapes in almost every photo, and she’s really honest with her anxiety and how she deals with humidity. Plus, Thomas is the real Instagram husband. If you ever need a pick-me-up, check out her blog.
