A Christmas Post

A week off of blogging meant I spent the week with family and friends celebrating the jolliest time of the year and reconnecting with my favourite people.

Christmas is seriously the best time of the year, which is why celebrating it makes me so happy! It’s more than just cranberry treats and opening gifts, it’s joy to all and kindness in our souls. The holiday season means opening your heart to everyone and focusing on what is really important.

Whether you belong to a denomination or not, I hope that the Christmas season fills you with joy and love. Hopefully you baked some cookies, played Christmas music, spent quality time with friends and family, and enjoyed some time off from the grind. We all need that in our lives, even if only for a short while.

For my holiday, I have been so lucky to spend the last few weeks at home. After a few days at my boyfriend’s home to spend time with his family and eat the most amazing cheesecake in existence, I headed home to my family where I’ve spent the last week and a half decorating the tree, having girls’ night, eating home cooked meals, and enjoying the people I only get to see a few times a year. It’s truly been wonderful.

I am so lucky to have these opportunities available to me since so many cannot. And considering this is my last Christmas where I’ll have a “Winter Break,” I am really cherishing this season and how much fun I’ve had.

Other than all of that, I’ve also been doing my Instagram Challenge in my free time! If you’re unaware, every year I do a “25 days of Christmas” Instagram challenge in the days leading up to X-mas. Below are the images from my 25 days!

Overall, this Christmas was really great. I’m sorry if I worried anyone falling off the blogging grid, but sometimes holidays take precedence. But I will be blogging like normal from now on!
