As I sit here in my bed, with a barely charged laptop and the soundtrack to Love, Simon playing, I realize I’ve been out of the blogging game for a while. And if you’ve thought I was dead or completely left the internet, well, I’m back!

Where to even start? Life has been a whirlwind of emotions and change and finally finding my groove in the City of Bridges. I’ve cried and laughed and found a life that is making me find a passion for blogging again. Being away from the internet was difficult (you try blogging for seven years and not miss it) and now I’m here and couldn’t be happier.
So what all has actually happened?
The biggest news is that I got a new job! After months and months of searching for my next step, it fell in my lap and I couldn’t be happier. The company is a great fit and I’m seeing the fruits of my labor in a much more direct way. This has been such an amazing step and I can’t wait for everything else that comes with it!
Other miscellaneous events have been: going on my first date in forever, getting into a car accident, helping run a conference, and making some lifelong friends. See, it’s been busy.
And that’s the best update I have! So much has happened, and as I get back on this whole “world wide web” scenario, I’ll reveal so much more! Until then, let’s close this out with some current enthusiasms because that’s what we do here on The Enthusiast…

Quote
“In life, you have to take the pace that love goes. You don’t force it. You just don’t force love, you don’t force falling in love, you don’t force being in love – you just become. I don’t know how to say that in English, but you just feel it.” Juan Pablo Galavis
