It’s 3 days until Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part 2 comes out!
Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix
My least favorite Harry Potter film. It’s my friend Katie’s favorite, but to me it just makes her bonkers.
I watched Order of the Phoenix about a year after it came out, on my DVR with my little brother. Here is a list of reasons why I cannot stand this film.
It is much too short for such a long book.
It is too choppy.
They leave out too many events. And all of my favorite parts.
The ending is terrible.
Of course, my motto to life is ‘To Each Their Own’ so feel free to watch the film by yourself and make your own conclusion. And tell me in the comments what it is so we can have a friendly debate 😀
But, since I am a lover of film synopsizes, here is the synopsis for Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix:
While on a walk through England, Harry and his fat cousin are attacked by dementors (scary, hooded creatures) and is forced to use magic to escape them. The Ministry of Magic discovers this and expels him from Hogwarts. Harry, who considers his only home to be at Hogwarts, fights and is eventually granted a hearing where he can plead his case. He is accepted back to Hogwarts but it isn’t quite the same. The Ministry has taken over a lot of the school. Harry continues his schooling while working with an anti-Voldemort oganization, spending time with his godfather and trying to finally defeat Voldy.
So, there you have it folks. The nicest words I can say on this film to be on the internet forever. And no, I don’t hate this film, but I also don’t consider it the best Harry Potter film out there. Have a great day guys!
