Favourites Friday #25

After being down and out with the flu this week, I am proud to report I am back to the land of the living and ready to get into some favourites!

This week definitely wasn’t the most spectacular (most of it was spent laying on my couch drinking water or attempting not to die during class) but the beginning of it was pretty great! On Sunday I had the opportunity of seeing Ellie Goulding’s headlining tour, Delirium! The show was amazing, so you know it’s in my favourites, and that along with a few other amazing things made my week not so bad after all!

Who’s ready for some great favourites?

A Week of Concerts and Flus: A Favourites Friday

1. Urban Decay Naked Flushed

Urban Decay Naked Flush Cheek Palettes:

When I want free shipping on Sephora I like to choose something that I normally wouldn’t purchase, or that I feel like is a good extra purchase for me. This time it was this lovely face compact. It has a bronzer, highlighter, and blush. I chose the ‘Native’ palette and love it for contouring and the highlighter is my fave. I loved using this palette to give me a sunkissed, cheery look for the concert, and use it on a nearly everyday basis for creating any look I need.

2. Ellie Goulding

Ellie Goulding! My favorite singer!:

I love Ellie Goulding, and anyone who knows me knows that I do. Her music speaks to me very closely and she’s one of the few artists who I have consistently followed for the last seven or so years. If I don’t know what to listen to then I go to Ellie, and seeing her in concert just made me so happy because the energy in her show is real. I definitely recommend going to see her!

3. Maybelline The Falsies Push Up Drama Mascara

Maybelline The Falsies Push Up Drama Mascara:

Here’s the thing, when I’m up and about and living my life, I don’t have time to go digging around my makeup bag deciding which mascara is perfect for each day. So when I have a concert, class, work, and lying around in just one week, it’s important I have a mascara that works for everything. And this mascara is perfect for layering for a concert, a quick swipe for class, classy enough for work, and is easy enough to wipe off for when I’m bed-ridden. Honestly, such a great mascara if applied correclty.

4. Gold Peak Sweet Tea

In the spring everyone needs their go-to drink that they can enjoy while sitting in the sun and reading magazines and classic novels. I love this tea because it is the perfect amount of sweet and great for refreshing my throat during those warm 70-80 degree days that are finally around! I can’t wait to spend the next few months with this delicious drink in a mason jar with a cute little straw.

5. “Don’t Panic”

I love this song! In concert, Ellie explained that this is the song that’s meant to get through those really difficult times where you don’t know what’s going on. This song is meant to calm you down and quiet those insane thoughts, which is exactly what it does for me. This is my go-to song for when I feel anxiety, and it’s worked so well.
