Favourites Friday #3

WELCOME TO FRIDAY!

I am so happy to get to this weekend, despite all the studying for midterms I have, and it’s time to celebrate with some favourites! This week has been focused on things I enjoy. I had a pretty hard week last week, and now I just want things that promote serenity and happiness. That’s what you’ll see in this week’s favourites, plus some promotion for a brand that I am 100% supporting right now. It’s a good week for favourites, that’s for sure.

So, who wants to check out my weekly faves?

Happy & Serene: Favourites Friday #3

1. Tunics

I have never owned a tunic before, and now it’s all I want to wear. I purchased Old Navy’s 3/4-Sleeve Sweater-Knit Tunic ($18) last week and I love how cozy it is. It’s great for sitting in my chilly calc class, and it’s cute for hanging with the girls over coffee. Tunics just have that great oversized length, and they come in plenty of diverse styles.

2. Purple Purse

I received a Purple Purse charm in this season’s FabFitFun box. After doing some research, I think Purple Purse is a great foundation for supporting women who have experienced domestic violence. It’s heartwarming to know that there are people working to stop something this terrible and toward a brighter tomorrow.

3. Chocolat chaud

Hot chocolate. It’s starting to get cold, and a warm, non-caffeinated drink before bed sounds like heaven. That’s why hot chocolate was invented. It’s rich and delicious and warms up your insides when hell freezes over. Whether you’re a purist or a mix hippie, hot chocolate is perfect. For me, it’s been really great for freezing nights over homework.

4. Redecorating

Sometimes I am just really obsessed with redecorating. Whether it be rearranging furniture during midterms or buying new pillowcases on paycheck day, I love to redecorate. This week, I have been obsessed with finding the perfect throw pillows for my couch. From colour to design to size, I am all about this living room decor.

5. Small black purses

There’s something about a small black purse that is just classy and works with every outfit. And I’m currently on the hunt to find the absolute perfect one. We’re talking size, material, strap, the whole nine yards. I’m still looking, and if you have a recommendation, please tell me! I’m using one I’ve had since I was 15 that I love, but an upgrade is in the near future.
