The best part of being home, in my opinion, is being able to cook. My parents have a big kitchen and a pantry filled of every little ingredient I could possibly need. When I’m home I’m always in the kitchen trying a special new recipe that has a 50/50 chance of being good.
This week I tried out a few new recipes and they were all so delicious I figured I had to share them with you so you can also have a yummy week!
Let the cooking begin!

I love snickerdoodles but never have the patience for baking (despite how much I love baking). That’s why this recipe was perfect for a little post-dinner treat! All you need is flour, sugar, cinnamon, baking powder, milk, butter, and vanilla extract, which about everyone has stashed somewhere in their cupboards. Seriously such a yummy treat!
Garlic Parmesan Tuna Sandwich
This one is of my own creation, but is honestly the best thing I ate all week. Simply replace the mayonnaise of your sandwich with about four spoonfuls garlic parmesan ranch (available at most stores, or make your own!) and mix up the ranch and tuna. Add two tablespoons of olive oil to make sure everything is moist and well blended. Add salt and pepper stick it on bread and voila!
This is honestly the best, easiest banana bread recipe I’ve ever used. The bread is so fluffy and moist and is perfect for a snack or dessert. I love heating it up with a little butter, or adding a bit of peanut butter on top. This recipe is my new go-to, and it only needs bananas, baking soda, salt, flour, sugar, vanilla extract, an egg, and butter. How easy!
