Today’s Stumble Saturday (brought to you by yours truly and blogcdn) is a definitely role-‘model’ to all. Oh goodness, I’m punny.
How many of you collected toy cars when you were little? Every year until he was about 10, people would give my little brother model cars for his birthday and Christmas. We had models of both of our cars, a black Surburban and a VW Jetta. He had lots of other makes, and he even had those little cars with the eyes. Weren’t those the cutest?
I like model cars because they are so realistic. Even though they’re smaller than my head, they look exactly like a 4,000 pound vehicle that can kill a full-grown man. Yeah, kind of scary to think about actually.
As for myself, I have only collected one model car. It’s a little black Mini Cooper. I’ve had it for about two years now. I received it from my mother and brother, who, while we had visited the hospital for checkups and such, I saw this little Mini Cooper, and my mother got it for me because I was being so good.
What model cars do you collect? Why do you collect them? Is it to sell on eBay, or to show your niece and nephew? I’d love to know more about the collection of model cars. It’s pretty fascinating.
