The Christmas Tag 2016

I created The Christmas Tag a few years ago and I love redoing it every year and seeing how Christmas changes for me. And the onslaught of people who have tried the tag makes me smile, because everyone is in the Christmas spirit!

Let’s see what this year’s answers bring:

What is your favourite Christmas film?

It’s so hard to choose, but this year the one I love the most is The Santa Clause.

Have you ever had a white Christmas?

Many and many and many. And if the frost on my car is any indication, I’m about to have another one.

Where do you usually spend your holiday?

Home with family and friends. The only place to spend your holiday!

What is your favourite Christmas song?

Do you open any presents on Christmas Eve?

One.

Can you name all of Santa’s reindeer?

Giving this a real try.

Dasher, dancer, prancer, donner, vixen, rudolph…are there more? How many reindeer does Santa have?

What Christmas traditions are you looking forward most to this year?

My dog freaking out over the stockings! He doesn’t understand Christmas and the magical appearing presents.

Is your Christmas tree real or fake?

My dad is a real tree kind of guy and my mom is a fake tree kind of girl. We’ll see how the 2016 battle goes.

What is your all-time favourite holiday food/sweet treat?

Be honest: Do you like giving or receiving gifts better?

Giving. I love shopping around for gifts and then knowing I gave someone the perfect gift.

What is the best Christmas gift you’ve ever received?

Too many to count. Each year I get the most perfect gifts.

What would your dream place to visit for the holiday season?

I’d love to spend some time in a place with ideal snowy weather, like the East Coast. And I wouldn’t say no to a Christmas in Europe.

Are you a pro-present wrapper, or do you fail miserably?

Most memorable holiday moment?

Off the top of my head I remember making Christmas cookies with my grandmother in our California home and she taught me how to frost a candy cane cookie.

What made you realize the truth about Santa?

Do you make New Year’s resolutions? Do you stick to them?

This year I am determined to follow mine. And there will be consequences for not.

What makes the holidays special for you?
