Want to Buy My Book?

Yes, you read that right. I have a book.

Today I am very excited to announce the official release of my first book, the eBook Affairs. Getting here has been an interesting road and as terrified as I am to share it with all of you, here it is!

Affairs cover

And here’s the synopsis:

One affair would lead her there. Another would make her leave. Sophia Wainwright has a problem with affairs. Mainly her father’s. And his affair has led to a lot of problems in her life. Her parent’s failing marriage, her 3,000 mile move across the country, and now her cousin’s incredibly sweet boyfriend…wants in her pants, badly. So much for solving Sophia’s problem with affairs. Between her hot-to-trot cousin Christina, Christina’s cliche gorgeous football-playing boyfriend Harry, and lowly NYU-dreaming Sophia, there’s about to be a lot more problems than Sophia could have ever imagined. Yeah, Sophia Wainright has a problem with affairs. They follow her everywhere she goes.

Affairs is incredibly special to me, as far as my teeny bopper genre writing goes. And that’s why it’s the first book I’m publishing. It’s not the first book I’ve written (you guys can expect that to be released in the future, fingers crossed) but it’s the one that just flew from my brain into manuscript almost instantly. It was written in about eight weeks, which is very quick compared to almost every other novel, but when I was writing it it just flowed.

So, what’s the story behind Affairs? The summer before I started university this idea just flew into my head. I finished the last chapter the night before I left for Eugene, typing the final words just as I realized I had to be showered, dressed, and packed into my car in five hours. And then it sat on the back burner for a bit before I remembered I NEED TO EDIT AFFAIRS!

As for the storyline, I have no idea what influenced it actually. It just came to me naturally. Sometimes the things we aren’t thing we experience, they are simply parts of our brain that we find worth exploring and sharing with the world. And with Sophia Wainwright, her story was something I wanted to share.

The editing process has taken months upon months upon months. As my education has progressed my skills of editing have, but I’m not perfect. So if you see some issues, remember that I’m 20 and don’t have a degree.

So, now that you know the story of Affairs. If you’re not into teeny bopper books, I understand, but that’s the genre I like to write and I hope that you’ll give it a read. Currently it is available to buy on Amazon Kindle as an eBook for $2.99. You can also download the free Kindle app for iPhone/iPad and Android to read it on other devices. And if you read it, please leave a review and let me know what you think. Your feedback is really important to me.

If you would like a sample before you buy, you can read the first three chapters here on Wattpad.

Okay, I’m done, I’ve spieled you all I can! Thank you so much for reading and being a supporter of my writing on this blog, and hopefully my authoring skills. And I encourage you to share this book with any young adults you may know, they might enjoy some leisurely summer reading. Use #AffairsBook if you tweet about it also, let’s get trending!
